Arende is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure our industrial real estate portfolio and services are available to all users.

1. Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Arende strives to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. We believe that a more accessible website is a more professional and usable website for our international and local clients.

To ensure a seamless experience, we have implemented the following features:

  • Navigation: Use of logical heading structures and ARIA labels to assist screen readers.

  • Contrast: High-contrast ratios for text and backgrounds to assist users with visual impairments.

  • Keyboard Accessibility: Ensuring all site functions, including contact forms and property maps, can be accessed via keyboard.

  • Alt-Text: Providing descriptive text for images of industrial parks and floor plans.

4. Limitations and Alternatives

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of the Arende website, there may be some limitations. For example, some older PDF property brochures or third-party map integrations may not yet be fully accessible.
